When it rains, it pours!

So today started with a bump!

Delilah and I go into her room to pick out her perfectly matched outfit and she decides to practice her walking. Well, BAM! she falls right into my desk and gets a bruise under her little eye :(

That's okay though... she's a little champ and stopped crying as soon as the boobies came out.

Fast forward a couple hours and we are playing together. My hands got dirty so I carried little Delilah into the bathroom with me. (I have to do this or she throws a royal fit. She is such a little pill.) So I put her on the counter and take my rings off. I start washing my hands and then towel dry them. I think to myself, might as well brush my teeth because I never did with the whole black eye fiasco. So I'm brushing away and I notice that she's got something in her mouth. This is not shocking because the kid always has something in her mouth! It's so very annoying. So I put the toothbrush down, spit and rinse and try to get whatever is in her mouth out. Well that little stinker swallowed whatever it was! So what was it? At first I had no idea... then I noticed that my wedding ring was gone! YIKES!!!! I had a little panic attack and made sure she was breathing and doing okay. That little stinker was laughing... oh she thought she was so sly!! So I hurried and googled it. Phew! Doesn't seem to be serious! I made a call to the pediatrician just in case and also called Daddy who had a heart attack! But it should be totally fine, the dangerous part (choking, stuck in esophagus) was over and now we mostly just have the fun part (digging through baby poop!) So hopefully my ring comes out without a fight!

After all that drama, you'd think we'd have a nice boring night. Ha! Nope!

I decided to make Delilah scrambled eggs for dinner. Dr. Jen said that eggs were totally fine and that I could feed them to her. Also, I was hoping a little protein would be good for helping get that ring out LOL

Well, they cooked up very easy with no butter or seasonings and I served it up for her. She gobbled it up! Yay ~ she is such a good eater. Everything seemed good. I loved it because she fed herself so I actually ate at a regular pace.

Skip ahead to 20 minutes after dinner. She is sneezing, rubbing her eyes and has red cheeks. What the hell is going on here!? Then she starts crying and seems very uncomfortable and I start freaking out. I'm thinking that the ring is caught somewhere and causing her distress! I After she continues to cry and not want to breastfeed (I believe this is the first time EVER), I tell Mark I think we need to get to the hospital for an x-ray. He is coming in to see and decide what to do when Delilah vomits all over herself and the bed. Immediately after she is happy and wants to sleep. It was so sad. Poor little sweets ended up vomiting 3 more times!

I just don't know what to do about these food sensitivites... the poor girl wants to eat and everything causes her problems! We are still trying to get her skin back in shape after feeding her bananas :(

I sure hope tomorrow is a better day for my peach.
