We are still traveling along this journey of eczema and food allergies. It's really not a fun journey and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I do think there might be a light at the end of the tunnel. We have been feeding her more foods (you know ones that typical 6 month olds can digest) and she is loving it!! Dare I say, the voodoo magic that is NMT might work?? Well, we don't want to jinx anything but I'm REALLY hopeful.
Delilah has started to get mad when we try to eat something and not share it with her. And she doesn't understand that mommy's chocolate covered potato chips are not suitable food for a little peanut like her! She just screams and gets hysterical. As soon as we give her something acceptable (like chopped blueberries or a boob) she is back to loving life. We can't keep up with this ramped up hunger that she has now - we were used to her eating like 3 small meals a day - now she wants to eat 6 or 7 big ones! She has also started this annoying little habit of chewing up her food and spitting it out. I think that will go away as soon as she realizes we are poor and we can't afford to feed her extra food! This morning I was eating a nutritious breakfast of eggs, toast and rum cake (pipe down - the liqueur is totally baked out) and she got mad when I only shared my toast. I proceeded to ignore her tantrum and that little booger took a bite out of my big toe! YOWZA!! Those little baby teeth made my poor little piggy bleed. When did my kid become such a little oinker?! She may look like Mark but her eating habits are alllll mommy.
