Dress up

Made a cinnamon raisin stuffed French toast last night so that we would have a special breakfast today. Unfortunately it takes an hour to bake so the girls had to wait. They asked if they could go upstairs to play dress up (the play room is up there). I said sure! They do that often so I wasn't concerned. I needed to tidy up downstairs anyway. So this beauty comes out of the oven...

and I head upstairs to get the girls. Uuuugggghhh! I find them in my office/laundry room playing dress up with Harvey's 3-6 month sized outfits I had just washed! What the heck?!?!





















Pretty sure Delilah needs to eat more since she's gonna be 4 in December and is fitting that 3-6 month outfit pretty well...

Comparing... Big Sister and Little Brother

So, I was browsing some pictures of Delilah when she was a baby and happened upon this silly picture of her sitting in a bumbo chair long before she really should have. She's all flopped over and not digging it. That's what happens when you are the only child and mommy gets bored. She tests out all the "crap" long before it's even necessary.

Okay, so I do have a point to this post. I was curious to see how H would compare to D. Well, I'm sad to report that I'm in trouble. I was really hoping that I'd finally get a lazy kid who'd want to lounge around for the next year or so... nope!

Harvey at 2 months... WTF?!

Seriously? Why does this kid look like a 6 month old chillin' in that thing? :( Boo Harvey!! Booo on you sir!! Stop trying to be a grown up already. You're supposed to be my last and let me savor your babyness for a very long time. This is not going well.
